Why do we represent the Service Company of the 501st PIR?

My Uncle, Walter Kagle.

He severed from D-Day through the occupation of Germany with the Service Company of the 501st.  It was this picture of him, that was always proudly displayed in my Grandmother's living room, that from my earliest memories sparked my interest in History and World War II.
