Our goal is to serve as a Web site for all
individuals and units with an interest in the
history of the US Army in World War II.
Our core group is a collection of World War II
reenacting and Living History enthusiasts.
We have chosen to reenact US Soldiers of the
28th Infantry Division of the Unites States
Army. Our intentions for reenacting are
numerous:
1. It is our primary intention is to honor and
remember those who proudly wore the ‘Keystone’
Patch and served their country as well as all
veterans of the era.
2. We wish to promote and encourage the exchange
of knowledge about the historical period of WWII
among members of this discussion group.
3. Our World War II reenactors will participate
in realistic actions simulating World War II
conditions. Through this participation in living
history and battle re-enactment events of the
World War II era, demonstrating drill, tactics,
and living conditions of that period.
4. To display and discuss our uniforms,
equipment and items of the era at events and
through this group.
5. To educate the public about the World War II
G.I. and the era that shaped our world
We encourage our members to gain more knowledge
about the 28th Infantry Division and the U.S.
Army in general while in service during the
Second World War. Our research includes
the wealth of books available. Even more
important to our research is first person
accounts available from veterans, whose
individual viewpoint through their experience is
priceless, and cannot be measured.
Additionally our goal for this site is to better
share a common passion for this period of
history; to carry on a fraternal organization
among members with common interests, and to
encourage the preservation of all relics,
memorabilia, historical sites, and the history
of the participation of the United States in
World War II.
Thank you
